The 42collective is a not for-profit organisation based in Wellington, New Zealand.
Our vision is for Wellington to be a place where it's easy for people to live socially and environmentally responsible lifestyles.
We are a practical, project-oriented organisation. We have a particular focus on promoting responsible business practices and on educating consumers about the choices they make.
We promote lifestyle choices which enhance personal happiness and wellbeing, but also respect our natural environment and contribute positively to the lives of others. We aim to make the shift towards these kinds of lifestyles as simple as possible.
The 42collective provides members with information about the environmental and social effects about the kinds of decisions we make each day, such as where to buy your coffee or a new pair of jeans. We also provide practical 'how to' information on those lifestyle choices that we think deserve extra consideration, such as growing your own veges or where you can find clothes that aren't poorly made or mass-produced.
